Media Criticism

I’m currently enrolled in a Media Criticism class as a part of my course load for my last semester of undergraduate school at Towson University. To follow what I’m learning through the process in my first blog post, click here.

Of course there’s more learning to be had so check out my second blog post on Cougar Town.

For my third blog post I’ve decided to discuss the influence of a consumer culture.

I cannot believe how fast the semester has gone, believe it or not I’m up to my fourth and final blog post for my Media Criticism class. I’ve learned so much throughout the semester and was able to take this final assignment to take a look at what my classmates had learned during the same time period.

Towson University certainly shows signs of the season change. Besides the drop in the temperature, students find themselves surrounded by a landscape of autumnal colors. The vibrant oranges, yellows and reds serve as a mood lifter for all the students swamped by mid-semester projects and exams. Be sure to take a second to stop and take it all in, before you know it the trees will be bare of their beauty.

The current housing market is perfect for potential home buyers, however, it is less ideal for those selling their homes because of all the competition. At this point if you are attempting to sell your home, you may want to try to find the most appealing For Sale sign to hang outside.

The housing market in Baltimore is at a low, leaving sellers frustrated after waiting months to sell their homes. Alyssia Essig, a Real Estate Agent in Baltimore notes that although the market is difficult there is something you can do to help sell your house.
